Sargesso asteroids

The Sargesso asteroids were situated in the Sargesso system, a part of the Tharin sector in the Slice portion of the Outer Rim Territories. After escaping from the Oovo system's Galactic Republic prison asteroid Oovo IV at some point by 32 BBY, the criminal Meeko Ghintee was pursued by a Tri-Mark VII Interceptor of the Republic Security Force. Ghintee then led the interceptor into an ambush in the Sargesso asteroids. There, the criminal rammed the vessel, breaching its hull, destroying its life support systems, and killing its crew. Ghintee later repaired and refitted the ship, naming it the Longshot, and eventually came to reside on the Outland Transit Station of the Baxel sector.
