Shara'Tam was an arid moon in the Arath system, located within the Outer Rim Territories and Galactic Frontier. The Jedi Sturm Umbrik led an expedition there that discovered treasure and confirmed that a sentient race had once lived in the moon's star system. However, everyone in the expedition was killed by pirates, leaving the location of Shara'Tam unknown for centuries. In 22 BBY, it was rediscovered when the Mirialan Servit used an EX droid that had been used in the expedition to hear a holorecording from Umbrik, revealing the moon's coordinates to several individuals hoping to find it.
