Thonner

Thonner was an Outer Rim Territories planet located in the Moddell sector. It was covered in shallow oceans and seas that were broken by strings of sandy islands. Freshwater vents also dotted Thonner's surface, and lichen imported from the planet Maya Kovel grew on the world's islands. Thonner's Lesser Firagh Peninsula was home to dangerous fauna such as the Zoun mauler.

Settled in 25 BBY, Thonner hosted a native population of Ayrou, Humans, and Kian'thar who were collectively known as Thonnermen. Practicing fishing and trapping as well as lichen farming, they led a semi-nomadic existence. Initially the Ayrou used Thonner as a penal colony, and the incarcerated Mon Calamari Vcikas hid on the planet a statue that was valued by the Ayrou. At some point, the Ayrou presence on Thonner decreased to just a few individuals, and the t'landa Til Korraj and his gang of pirates maintained a base on the planet.
