Til

Til was a star located in the Til system, deep within the Unknown Regions. It was orbited by the technologically advanced world Tililix, which was the homeworld of the sentient Tarro species. Nearly a century before the Battle of Yavin, Til exploded with little warning, destroying Tililix in the process.

Only those Tarro who were off-world at the time survived the cataclysm, with the remaining members of the nearly extinct species numbering merely 350 individuals. Those Tarro who lived in other star systems speculated that the destruction of Til could have been caused by a secret Tarro-constructed superweapon.
