An unidentified planet located within the Unknown Regions was the point of origin from which the Storm-hair species emerged. Warlord Nuso Esva and his warriors, the Chosen, were Storm-hairs, and they destroyed dozens of other species and worlds until Esva himself was killed in 8 ABY by the Empire of the Hand's stormtroopers commanded by Grand Admiral Thrawn during a battle on the Unknown Regions planet Quethold.
