According to a legend, a long time before 0 BBY, a planet served as the home of the Wookiee species. However, they left the planet in favor of the world of Kashyyyk, located in the Mid Rim's Mytaranor sector.
Wookiee records rarely mentioned the planet, and when they did, they only gave vague information, which included a suggestion that the Wookiees who came to Kashyyyk were pioneers or refugees. In 0 BBY, the Wookiee Attichitcuk told the story of the Wookiees' old planet to his grandson, Lumpawarrump.
