Varic was a terrestrial celestial body situated in the Varic system, a part of the Chorlian sector of the Outer Rim Territories. Its climate featured significant sand storms, which affected the skin complexion of the Trandoshan mercenary Nakaron upon his visit to the astronomical object at some point by the time of the New Republic. The effect of the Varic sand storms on Nakaron was eventually noted by the New Republic General Airen Cracken in an entry of the datafile Wanted by Cracken—the initial version of which was published in 7 ABY—dedicated to the Trandoshan.
