The Vex Asteroid Belt, also known as the Belt, was a part of the Vex system of the Outer Rim Territories' Moddell sector. Featuring hyperspace scout bases and a population of Human freighter jocks, explorers, and prospectors, the asteroid belt was originally settled with the goal of exploring the nearby Monsua Nebula. Various deals of questionable legality could be made with relative ease with the inhabitants of the Vex Asteroid Belt, who were collectively known as the Belters.
