Yout 12, also referred to as the twelfth moon of Yout, was located in the Yout system, a part of the Qiilura sector in the New Territories portion of the Mid Rim. Along with the rest of the Yout system, it lay on the Entralla Route hyperlane between the Qiilura system and the Vvan system of the Tyan sector.
The Hutt crime lord and Black Sun Vigo Ziro Desilijic Tiure once dispatched his droid assassin KRONOS-327 to eliminate a rival Vigo on Yout 12. KRONOS-327 failed in his mission, however, and when he relayed the fact to Ziro in 22 BBY, the Hutt ordered him to be dismantled for scrap.
