Asa Kalama is the Vice President and Executive for Creative and Interactive Experiences at Walt Disney Imagineering. In his previous role as executive creative director, he led development of Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run and Star Wars: Datapad at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. Kalama also worked on Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. In 2026, Kalama oversaw the extensive updates to Disneyland's version of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, including a new mission for Smuggler's Run.
