Julianne Buescher

Julianne Buescher is an American actor, Muppet Performer and writer who performs in film, television, radio, and on stage. As a voice actor, she is known for many roles. She is also a Muppet Performer for The Jim Henson Company, having worked for both Sesame Street and The Muppets.

For Disney and Star Wars, Buescher provided voice work for various projects. Her earliest Star Wars work included video games, notably Aeron Azzameen in Star Wars: X-Wing Alliance and Rianna Saren in Star Wars: Lethal Alliance. Later, as Disney opened Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, she lent her voice to characters at Black Spire Outpost, including Koopla Nanuk, Chuta, Weru, and Mom. She was also the voice match for Daisy Ridley as Rey.

Outside of her work, Buescher is a fan of Star Wars, including the sequel trilogy, having posted about The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker. She celebrates May 4. She also visited Galaxy's Edge with an annual pass at Disneyland riding Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance constructing her own lightsaber, and Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run.
