Alaphani

Alaphani were a sentient species. They had plated and grooved gray skin with six light blue eyes between plates on their heads. Several grey teeth jutted outward from their mouth and had holes above them. Their heads were attached to their body by multiple thin connections. Alaphani had two segmented arms that ended in a hand with three long-nailed fingers each. They also had two legs and a foot for each. Members of the Alaphani species spoke a language of the same name.

In 1 ABY, the smuggler Han Solo met with an Alaphani on the Ring of Kafrene space station. While there, Solo made use of the translator protocol droid C-3PO to make a deal with the Alaphani for a set of transponder codes. According to Solo, no Alaphani worth their name would give ten percent off in exchange for a droid.
