Cuckoo hen

Cuckoo hens were a type of chicken that made clucking sounds. By the time of the Imperial Era, being compared to one of the hens could be considered a symbol of cowardice. While attending an emergency summit on the Outer Rim planet Akiva in 4 ABY, Grand Moff Valco Pandion berated his fellow Imperials for their lack of courage to attack the nascent New Republic, questioning if they were part of an Empire consisting of cuckoo hens.
