Giant turtle gator

The giant turtle gator, also known as the dinosaur turtle, or simply the lake monster, was a non-sentient reptilian creature, which was known to be aggressive. When it attacked the Mandalorians, one of whom it ate, Din Djarin arrived in his N-1 starfighter and fired torpedoes into the creature's side, killing it.

The giant turtle gator was quadrupedal and had a long tail. Its skin was all but impervious to blaster fire. Its shell was also strong against the explosion of grav charge. It dwelled underwater but could also operate on land. Due to its enormous size, the lake monster relied on stealth to hunt its prey. It was also known to attack anything it percieved as potential threat to its existence.

The flesh of a lake monster was considered to be a delicacy, likely due to the extreme difficulty in obtaining it.
