Gorth (creature)

Gorths were a type of creature with a tail that attracted flies. When New Republic pilot Norra Wexley flew through the innards of the second Death Star battle station during the Battle of Endor in 4 ABY, she mentally compared the TIE/ln space superiority starfighters that swarmed after her to flies on a gorth's tail. Later that year, she remembered the comparison in a dream while on the planet Akiva.
