Graygl

The Graygl were an aquatic species originally native to Danalbeth. The Graygl relocated to the water-covered planet Iskalon to escape a cataclysm that struck Danalbeth around five millennia before the Galactic Civil War, and became a part of the Iskalonian School, a cultural group of several aquatic species that had traveled to Iskalon with the aid of spacefaring benefactors. Graygl had a fearsome appearance, with a wide mouth filled with sharp teeth and red eyes, although this belied their gentle nature. However, their permanent look of anger allowed them to intimidate many dangerous predators, such as the chiaki.
