Spacefaring benefactors

The "spacefaring benefactors" were a mysterious group who relocated seventeen sentient aquatic species to the planet Iskalon from their homeworlds which faced a series of cataclysms. approximately five millennia before the Galactic Civil War. Their relocating of aquatic species led to the creation of the Iskalonian society, an example of cultural fusion.

The benefactors' identity remained a mystery at least until the Galactic Civil War, when the Shi'ido anthropologist Mammon Hoole led an expedition to the ruins of the seventeen species, in hopes of discovering the nature of the cataclysms and the identity of the benevolent spacers.
