Jara fish

A jara fish was a type of fish that lived on the planet Mon Cala. As a youth, the Mon Calamari Ghal Tarpfen used to sit outside her underwater house, watching the flotsam float down from above. One day she saw a dead jara fish, with the sight made gruesome by the fact that the creature was in several pieces: its fin, tail, and head, whose eyes stared confusedly. Later in life, when being blackmailed by the Nihil marauders, Tarpfen felt similarly dismembered and set adrift as that jara fish had been.
