The Katikoot were a batlike sentient species from the twin planets of Gloam and Aubadas. Originally native to Gloam, the Katikoot were forced to immigrate to Aubadas after mining activities unleashed a plague which turned members of the species into zombie-like monsters. The Katikoot lost their ability to fly sometime after the move, and eventually forgot their true origins. They spoke a whistling language, but could also speak Galactic Basic Standard.
