Mongworst

Mongworst were a species of vicious and deadly insects found on the Outer Rim planet Geonosis. They were bred for combat by the native Geonosians and made to participate in pit fights for the Geonosians' pleasure. During the First Battle of Geonosis in 22 BBY, tiny, mutant mongworts were being kept in a secure holding pen carved into the rock beneath the Stalgasin hive's Petranaki Arena on Geonosis. The Galactic Empire sterilized Geonosis around 9 BBY.
