Nejma

The Nejma were an aquatic species originally native to Eriscot. The Nejma relocated to the water-covered planet Iskalon to escape a cataclysm that struck Eriscot around five millennia before the Galactic Civil War, and became a part of the Iskalonian School, a cultural group of several aquatic species that had traveled to Iskalon with the aid of spacefaring benefactors. A very tall, brown-skinned race that typically had wild orange hair, red eyes and a long dorsal fin on their backs, the Nejma were known as the "Honored Ones" by the rest of the School, and largely kept themselves isolated from wider Iskalonian society. Nejma created renowned artwork out of coral reefs, which often attracted treasure seekers and raiders.
