Ogemite

Ogemites were a sentient species in the galaxy that partially shared their name with the celestial body Ogem in the Mid Rim Territories. In 232 BBY, several Ogemites boarded the starship Journeyman on the Mid Rim planet Cerea. However, the Journeyman was damaged by an impact with debris during the galactic-wide Great Hyperspace Disaster while traveling on a hyperspace route and sent out a distress call. Jedi Master Cohmac Vitus, who boarded the vessel to assist with saving its occupants, saw a few of the ship's Ogemite passengers while moving to clear a blockage preventing access to the nearby escape pods. Vitus successfully eliminated the obstacle, allowing the Journeyman travelers to flee the ship safely before it exploded shortly afterward.
