Rangan

Rangans were a indigenous pre-hyperdrive species of bipedal sentients native to the planet Rango Tan. They remained neutral in recent galactic conflicts as they had no interplanetary travel of their own. At some point, the Galactic Empire pretended to fire the Death Star to destroy the Rangans' homeworld, in order to test the Imperial gunners aboard the station.
