Resputi-seal

Resputi-seals, also known as just resputi, were enormous predators that lurked in the lowest levels of the deep sinkhole caves of the planet Utapau. In 19 BBY, fierce resputi-seals had made a lair in caverns beside a bone mine above the pools and grottos of Coranth in the Mining Level of the sinkhole of Pau City on Utapau. The breeding resputi-seals frequently attacked mine workers who entered their territory. Despite the risk of encountering a resputi-seal or other ferocious predators in the darkness of the caves, the grottos and pools of the Mining Level were still a popular place to relax.
