Resputi-seal

Resputi-seals, also referred to as simply resputi, were a type of large and fierce creature that lived in the deep sinkhole caves of the Outer Rim planet Utapau. The resputi-seals loved to eat Utai, a diminutive sentient species that inhabited the higher levels of the sinkholes, and Utai mine workers that entered the creatures' territory were often attacked by breeding resputi-seals.

In 19 BBY, resputi-seals made their lair in caverns beside a bone mine above the pools and grottoes of Coranth in the Mining Level of the Pau Sinkhole on Utapau. Despite the danger posed by the resputi-seals in the darkness of the caves, the best known caverns, pools, grottoes, and ponds at the bottom of the sinkhole were kept safe by the residents of Pau City and so were popular places to relax.
