Scree

Insectoid creatures that inhabited the Vergesso Asteroids, the Scree were a non-sentient species of spacefaring insects that attacked anything that ventured near their asteroid field.

Able to survive in the vacuum of space and armed with pincers that secreted corrosive juices able to melt the hardest of starship hulls, the Scree vented gas from their own bodies for locomotion. These vicious insects were known throughout the galaxy, after the escape of the Truth's Light, for the hundreds of ships that they had destroyed over the centuries.
