Shistavanen

Shistavanen were a species of sentient fur-covered bipeds with wolflike faces, clawed paws, and glowing yellow or red eyes. Their homeworld was the planet Uvena Prime. One Shistavanen was Odabba, who worked for Garello Technologies during the High Republic Era. According to a story, the red sun rays that hit of the moon of Lupal turned the visiting Shistavanen explorer Kordus Vrak into a feral beast. By the time of the New Republic, a Shistavanen known as Brutus sailed the stars as the First Mate of Mad Captain Silvo's pirate crew.
