Sith (species)

The Sith were a red-skinned species with tentacles, susceptible to using the dark side of the Force. They shared their name with the Sith Order, a religious organization of Force-sensitives who also used the dark side.

Centuries before the Galactic Civil War, a member of the Sith species was part of the Darkseekers, a specialized sect within the Sith Order. During their attack on the Ascendant temple, the lightsaber-wielding Sith stabbed the Ascendant member Ilith, which ultimately led to his death.
