A strike-vulture was a type of vulture that the Force-sensitive Dathomirian Asajj Ventress believed were the only birds found on the planet Rattatak. They were known to strip bones clean on the planet's dust plains.
In 23 BBY, Ventress, after being freed by Count Dooku from the criminal Osika Kirske and transported to the planet Serenno, realized she was not on Rattatak anymore as she heard birds that were not strike-vultures singing.
