Three-footed noor

The three-footed noor was a type of bird with three feet found on Birren, a planet in the Inner Rim Territories. During her time living with her family on Birren, the human Kata Akuna saw three-footed noors and other birds while bird-watching. Akuna eventually left Birren and, after the loss of both her parents, joined the crew of the luxury yacht Stinger Mantis in 9 BBY. While on the ship, she tried to list all of the birds she had encountered while on Birren, including the three-footed noor, which was overheard by the owner of the Mantis, Greez Dritus. Dritus asked what she was doing and, once Akuna explained, he asked for more information on the birds as he had never been to Birren; however, Akuna put off the discussion till later.
