Unidentified sea creature (Abtin)

A type of sea creature lived in the damp caves of the Sands of Sarmen on the planet Abtin. The creature, as an adult, sported six dexterous tentacles and four legs. Numerous juveniles of the species lived in the relatively shallow water on the cave floor. In 228 BBY, boyfriends Kip Soh and Jom Lariin ran into a cave system on the beach of the Sands of Sarmen to hide from approaching Nihil intent on abducting them. Inside, an adult sea creature attacked the men until it was put down by the monster hunter apprentice Drewen Qweebjillan's electroprod. Later, as the men ran deeper into the cave system once the Nihil arrived at the cave's mouth, they found themselves wading through waist-deep water. Juveniles of the sea creature species latched onto their bodies. The creatures were eventually scared away by monster hunter Ty Yorrick using the droid R0-VR's sonic agitator.
