Veeza

The Veeza were a sentient species. According to the play Evocar, which was written by the Hutt playwright Direus'pei between 920 BBY and 671 BBY, the Veeza were exterminated by the Tionese warlord Xim during his conquests of the Tion Cluster that occurred between 25,130 and 25,100 BBY. In the play, when Xim was captured and placed on trial by the Hutt Empire, he justified the extinction of the Veeza and other species on the basis that they were slavers.

However The Despotica, a collection of literary works about Xim and his conquests, stated that Direus'pei disregarded accepted history while writing the play. It went on to state that the Hutt playright used Xim and other famous figures in Evocar as a political screed to condemn the Hutts' continued subjugation of the Evocii, a species native to the planet Nal Hutta.
