Wide-winged rok

The wide-winged rok was a type of bird with a wide wingspan found on the Inner Rim planet Birren. While living their with her family, the human Kata Akuna watched wide-winged roks and other birds. After she had left Birren and lost both her parents, Akuna tried to remember all of the birds she had encountered on Birren while on board the luxury yacht Stinger Mantis in 9 BBY. Greez Dritus, owner of the Mantis, overheard her list, which included the wide-winged rok, and asked what she was doing. Once Akuna explained, Dritus asked for more information on the birds as he had never been to Birren, but she put off the discussion till later.
