Zakkegs were a species of creature known for being crafty and stubborn. The mercenary Saponza compared the Tusken Raider known as the Jundland General to a zakkeg after discovering that he had several heavily fortified bases. Associates of the smuggler Liana Kor described her as being as "stubborn as a zakkeg, and twice as mean."
