Zarracine

A sentient species, the Zarracines hailed from the planet Zarracina III. In 11,660 BBY, the Pius Dea–controlled Galactic Republic attempted to gain control of the planet, with the Zarracines resisting the efforts. Ultimately, Republic Commodore Daymont Praji ordered the orbital bombardment of the world that rendered the species nearly extinct. The surviving Zarracines became nomads in space and harbored a millennia-long hatred for the Republic and House Praji. Many Zarracines later joined the Confederacy of Independent Systems, and, during the Clone Wars, five Zarracine terrorists unsuccessfully attempted to board the repulsorlimo of First Minister Tannon Praji of the Coruscant Ministry of Ingress.
