Zongorlu (species)

The Zongorlu were a sentient species from the Outer Rim Territories planet Zongorlu. They were large, slow-moving plants. During the Mandalorian Wars, when the Galactic Republic was transmitting from Zongorlu propaganda targeting the Mandalorian Neo-Crusaders, the broadcasts made various false claims about the planet's inhabitants—according to the propaganda, the Zongorlu had a society organized into warrior-tribes and had withdrawn to their homeworld after the Mandalorians had destroyed Zongorlu youngling vacation camps during their attack on the planet Serroco. When a Neo-Crusader force later arrived on Zongorlu, the warriors encountered the native aliens, discovering the truth about them.
