Zongorlu

Zongorlu was an Outer Rim Territories planet located in the Noonian sector. It was home to the sentient, plant-like Zongorlu species. In 3963 BBY, during the Mandalorian Wars, a Galactic Republic transmission station was located on Zongorlu, from which propaganda broadcasts were made by an actor performing the persona of Republic "Captain Goodvalor."

After the Republic learned that its enemy in the war, the Mandalorian Neo-Crusaders, planned to advance to Zongorlu after having occupied the planet Taris, "Goodvalor" began making various false claims about Zongorlu on the broadcasts, aiming to demoralize the Mandalorian soldiers. Nevertheless, the Neo-Crusaders, including Koblus Sornell, did travel to Zongorlu, with the surprised Sornell then informing the Mandalorian officer Cassus Fett of the truth about the planet and about the Republic propagandist having narrowly escaped them. Between 12 ABY and 13 ABY, Zongorlu was part of the Imperial Remnant.
