Ark of Baron Auletphant

The Ark of Baron Auletphant was an interstellar barge. It was golden and was inlaid with rose and azure mytag crystals. Commissioned more than ten thousand years prior to 520 BBY, the Ark of Baron Auletphant traveled for a century between far-flung worlds. There, the vessel collected specimens of aquatic life.

In 10,000 BBY, the historian Vicendi included the barge in the Twenty Wonders of the Galaxy—a list of spectactular, antique artificial objects compiled for the publication Arturum Galactinum. The Ark of Baron Auletphant at one point became lost in space, remaining so for ten millennia. In 520 BBY, the ship became housed in the Baobab Archives on the planet Manda.
