A testing facility from Koensayr Manufacturing was active during the early Clone Wars for the Y-wing project. Galactic Republic Senator Ask Aak oversaw the facility, placed in orbit above Bormus in the Mid Rim as it tested and developed the BTL-B Y-wing starfighter/bombers, despite the Republic already owning BTL-B Y-wings as force projection prior to the outbreak of war.
