The Celestial was a Rebel prison ship. Imperial prisoners Grand Moff Ravik and Bane Nothos revolted and captured the ship from its captain, Alain Gryphon, but Gryphon desperately sent the ship to lightspeed before Imperial reinforcements could arrive. A damaged hyperdrive sent the Celestial to the mysterious Otherspace dimension.
