Chita's ship was a YV-865 Aurore-class freighter owned by the smuggler Chita. When the planet Zenarita was occupied by the Galactic Empire, Chita was hired to bring the planet's prince, Arluu, to safety. Along with the former Jedi Gleenu, they escaped to the freighter and used it to travel to the moon Yavin 4.
