Eclipse Rider

The Eclipse Rider was a modified Corellian Engineering Corporation YT-1300 light freighter that pilot Wedge Antilles rented in 7 ABY during the preparations for the Bacta War, a conflict between Antilles' independent starfighter unit Rogue Squadron and the pro-Imperial government of the Inner Rim planet Thyferra. It was used by Antilles and fellow Rogue Squadron pilot Ooryl Qrygg for a trip from the Core Worlds planet Coruscant to the Outer Rim planet Rishi to purchase a cache of X-wing starfighter parts.

The trip out from Coruscant went well, but upon landing on Rishi, the Eclipse Rider lost a repulsorlift coil. While Antilles purchased the necessary X-wing parts, Qrygg worked on replacing the missing repuslorlift coil. Local regulations on the use of repulsorlift vehicles ultimately delayed the departure from Rishi by twelve hours.
