Manufactured by Sienar Fleet Systems, EX-4-9 was a TIE/ln starfighter within the Imperial Navy during the Galactic Civil War. By 3 ABY, the Executor-class Star Dreadnought Executor included EX-4-9 among two full wings of TIE/LN starfighters at the Star Dreadnought's disposal, at a total of 144 starships. Around that time, EX-4-9 flew through the Hoth asteroid field.
