Imperial Facility 729-D

Imperial Facility 729-D was a space station maintained by the Galactic Empire at a classified location of the galaxy's Inner Rim region. The station had a hexagonal structure with a central hangar bay, which housed the Star Courier Scimitar, a starship belonging to Galactic Emperor Sheev Palpatine. The hangar was complemented by stormtroopers.

Shortly after the theft of Palpatine's personal yacht, the Imperialis, he contacted Chanath Cha, a trusted bounty hunter who was on the Inner Rim world of Amethia Prime. Palpatine instructed Cha to track down the stolen vessel, and he made arrangements for Cha to rendezvous with Imperial Facility 729-D to receive the Scimitar for the mission. On board the facility, Cha was greeted by pilot droid O-66 and supplied with the Scimitar, which the bounty hunter used to locate the stolen Imperialis soon after.
