Kalpana

The Kalpana was a starship that served in the New Republic's fleet during the Galactic Civil War. The entire crew of the vessel were lost during a number of attacks carried out by the Galactic Empire's 204th Imperial Fighter Wing some time after the Battle of Endor in 4 ABY. Caern Adan, an officer in the New Republic Intelligence, listed the loss of the Kalpana crew among a number of strikes carried out by the 204th since the Battle of Endor in a conversation with an IT-O Interrogation Unit several weeks after the latter battle. The Kalpana shared its name with Skor Kalpana, who was Supreme Chancellor of the Galactic Republic prior to Finis Valorum.
