Lastri's Ort

The Lastri's Ort was one of the starships in Talon Karrde's smuggling operation. It was a 300 meter long Kuat Drive Yards Star Galleon-class frigate, and as such was the largest and best-armed ship in Karrde's fleet.

The ship was sold to Karrde by an unidentified former Moff who needed to raise additional money, and the only alteration made to the ship was to remove its Stormtrooper barracks for additional cargo space.

Karrde usually operated Lastri's Ort in Outer Rim systems that were far from Imperial territory, as Imperial patrols might be suspicious of such a ship in private hands. However, in 9 ABY, Karrde risked taking the frigate to the Bilbringi Shipyards as part of his operation to steal a crystal gravfield trap. Along with the rest of the Smugglers' Alliance, it played an important role in the Battle of Bilbringi.
