Mandator-class Dreadnaught

The Mandator-class Dreadnaught of the Mandator line was a type of dreadnought in the naval forces of the Galactic Empire. The Mandator belonged to the family of Imperial Navy dreadnoughts that included the Bellator-class dreadnought and the Assertor-class Star Dreadnought, the largest member of that family. In 1 BBY, General Jan Dodonna sent a rebel communication in which he postulated that a capital ship would have to be at least the size of a Mandator-class Dreadnaught to supply power for a superlaser and that the laser would still not have enough strength to destroy a planet. The report was included in dossier of information provided by General Airen Cracken to Chief of State Mon Mothma concerning Operation Fracture.
