The MC30c frigate, also referred to simply as the MC30C and MC30c, was a class of Mon Calamari frigate that was manufactured by Mon Calamari Shipyards and saw service during the Imperial Era. The frigates were deployed by the Alliance to Restore the Republic's naval forces during the Galactic Civil War against the Galactic Empire, and they were adopted by the New Republic Defense Fleet, the naval branch of the Alliance's successor state, the New Republic.
The MC30c frigate was used as an attack vessel, and was one of the most powerful mid-level warships in the Alliance's arsenal. They were typically found in Alliance battle groups as they were not able to take damage well. The frigates participated in multiple engagements during the Civil War, including the Battle of Xorrn and the Empire's fatal defeat, the Battle of Jakku.
