Platform 8127/121 was an Imperial Golan III Space Defense NovaGun space station that orbited the planet Esseles in 0 ABY. Measuring 2,600 meters in length, it had a considerable armament composed of turbolaser batteries, proton torpedo launchers, and tractor beam projectors. It was present when Imperial Advisor Coh Veshiv transferred from his personal corvette, the Empire Forever, to the seemingly Imperial frigate Far Orbit. However, the Far Orbit was actually a disguised Alliance to Restore the Republic privateering vessel, and its crew kidnapped Veshiv.
