Stellar Vista

The Stellar Vista was a Mon Calamari star cruiser during the Imperial Era. In the standard year 14 BBY, during the star cruiser's service as a luxury liner, it was pulled out of hyperspace by the orders of Imperial Moff Wilhuff Tarkin, who was seeking to recapture the Carrion Spike, his personal starship, which had been stolen by rebels. When passengers from the Stellar Vista escaped the ship in escape pods, they entered harms' way during the an ensuing confrontation between Tarkin's Star Destroyer Executrix and the yacht Truant, in which Tarkin insisted the Truant be destroyed despite the evacuated passengers in the line of fire. Over a thousand passengers became civilian casualties, and the wreckage of the Stellar Vista was towed for repairs to the planet Obroa-skai.
